About the Studio
Built on patience
Since 2009 we have worked at the meeting point of heritage and contemporary life — restoring what deserves to stand, and adding only what sits lightly within it.
01 — Our Story
A practice that began
with its own walls
VIKO's first restoration was its own office — a 19th-century han on the Golden Horn whose vaults we cleaned, repointed, and learned from. That building taught us our method: survey first, intervene reversibly, and let the original fabric carry the room.
Today the studio runs restoration, conservation, and new-build projects across Türkiye and Central Europe, with craft research conducted in-house and every survey led by a principal.
02 — History
Sixteen years, four chapters
2016
Studio founded in Dubai
Began working on residential interior design projects in Dubai, gaining experience in luxury interiors, material selection, space planning, and client-focused design
2014
First international commission

2019
