VIKO at the European Conservation Forum
Nilgün Demir joins this year's panel on reversible intervention in masonry conservation — and the studio's Atrium Gallery casework goes on display.
Our Director of Conservation, Nilgün Demir, will speak at this spring's European Conservation Forum on a subject close to the studio's method: reversibility as a design constraint, not an afterthought.
The panel draws on the Atrium Gallery restoration, whose craftsmanship award casework — mortar trials, tracery templates, and the glazing survey — will be part of the Forum's exhibition. If you are attending, come and find us; the studio will be there for both days.
We will publish the talk's notes here in the journal after the Forum closes.
